Methyltrienolone (Metribolone) is a 19-nor derivative and among the most potent oral anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) ever synthesized. Despite its unmatched potency, it is also considered highly hepatotoxic (liver-toxic) and is therefore used extremely cautiously, if at all, by athletes.

Characteristics
-Compound Type: 19-Nor steroid
-Aromatization: Non-aromatizing (does not convert to estrogen)
-Relative Potency: ~120× the anabolic effect and ~60× the androgenic effect of testosterone (testosterone = 100/100 benchmark)
-Active Life: 4–6 hours

Androgen Receptor (AR) Binding and Fat Loss
Methyltrienolone binds exceptionally tightly to the androgen receptor (AR). ARs are present not only in skeletal muscle tissue but also in adipose (fat) tissue.
In muscle cells, AR activation promotes protein synthesis and growth.
In fat cells, AR activation influences lipolysis (fat burning).
A stronger AR binding generally correlates with a stronger fat-burning effect in adipose tissue. However, it is important to understand that AR binding strength does not always predict anabolic potency. For example, Anadrol (oxymetholone) and Dianabol (methandrostenolone) both have very weak measurable AR binding but still produce dramatic anabolic effects.

Use in Practice
Given its profile, Methyltrienolone is considered more suitable for cutting cycles rather than bulking. It is typically stacked with injectable compounds such as testosterone but should not be combined with other oral steroids because of its severe hepatotoxicity.

Typical dosing reported in literature and anecdotal use:
500–750 mcg per day considered relatively safer and comparable in effect to 150–225 mg of Trenbolone Acetate
Up to 2 mg per day sometimes used but only by very advanced users
Duration: No longer than 3–4 weeks

Side Effects and Risks
Because of its potency and methylated (oral) nature, Methyltrienolone places a heavy burden on the liver and potentially on the prostate. Even at microgram doses, it is strongly hepatotoxic and can negatively affect cholesterol levels and other health markers.

Methyltrienolone (Metribolone) is one of the most powerful synthetic androgens ever developed, with unmatched binding affinity for the androgen receptor. While it offers extreme potency and fat-loss potential in a cutting phase, its toxicity and risk profile make it a compound that requires extreme caution, very low doses, and short cycles if used at all.
